The new Avatar movie is coming up soon!

Given how long the new Avatar movie has been in development.. We just cannot overlook Its upcoming release.

Since Avatar initially premiered and impressed us all with its amazing visual effects more than ten years ago, let’s hope the eagerly anticipated movie matches up to its predecessor. Particularly given that Avatar 5 won’t release until 2028..

The new Avatar movie Trailer:

Before the movie’s December release, the teaser trailer for Avatar: The Way of Water, often known as Avatar 2.

It has gotten over 12 million views on YouTube. The first movie in the series. Which released and went on to become the all-time highest-grossing film.

It also has been out for almost 13 years. But the $2.8 billion Avatar made in 2009 would be equivalent to about $3.8 billion today after accounting for inflation.

The sequels apparently have a combined budget of $1 billion, or around $250 million for each movie. However the popularity of the first movie prompted 20th Century Studios (owned by Disney as of 2019) to allow their production.

Avatar 2 Released date:

To make a long story short, the release of Avatar 2 has been postponed. From December 2021 to December 16, 2022 because of the ongoing worldwide health crisis.

After the sequel does come out this year.. A series of sequels every other year will follow until Avatar 5 in December 2028. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves; instead, let’s focus on Avatar 2 right now.

Avatar 2 cast and budget:

Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, CCH Pounder, and Matt Gerald return to their characters from the first movie. And Sigourney Weaver makes an appearance in a new role.

Kate Winslet, Michelle Yeoh, Edie Falco, Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi, Oona Chaplin, Jermaine Clement. As well as more actors have joined the cast as new actors in the film.

According to Deadline, the budget for Avatar 2 and the three other films in the trilogy are expected to reach over $1 billion, with each film’s budget being around $250 million.
